Mallika mango is a hybrid variety developed in India by crossing Neelum × Dashehari. The fruits are medium to large, oblong in shape, with smooth yellow skin when fully ripe.
The pulp is deep orange, very sweet, aromatic, and fiberless, with a rich flavor similar to premium dessert mangoes. Mallika mango is highly suitable for fresh eating, and also excellent for pulp, juices, desserts, and processing.
The tree is a medium-sized, regular-bearing evergreen, known for high productivity and good fruit quality. Mallika mangoes usually ripen during the late season (June–July) and are appreciated for their uniform fruits, long shelf life, and export potential.
