Sathukudi (Parri) is a popular mandarin orange variety cultivated in Tamil Nadu, especially in the southern districts. The fruits are medium-sized, round to slightly flattened, with smooth, thin orange skin that is easy to peel.

The pulp is bright orange, very juicy, and sweet with mild acidity, making it highly refreshing. This variety is mainly consumed fresh and also used for juice preparation.

The plant is a small to medium-sized evergreen citrus tree, suitable for tropical to subtropical climates. Sathukudi (Parri) fruits usually mature during the November–January season and are valued for their excellent taste, high juice content, and strong local market demand.
